New data regarding the online bingo industry have been published recently by Mintel, the famous marketing research company. The results of their research have been very favourable for the online bingo industry, which registered an average of 3.5 million players every day. Moreover, the good news is that everything seems to indicate that the industry has not been affected by the crisis, and will still not being affected in the near future. Furthermore, contrary to what many people thought, the number of young players is also increasing. In fact, one fifth of the total number of bingo players are between 18 and 24 years old.

Bingo in the theatre
Bingo fans in London have had a great opportunity to enjoy a theatre play based on their favourite game.
The play, named Strictly Bingo and produced by Breaking Trough Productions, was presented at the Hackney Empire located in the West End, which in the past was a bingo hall.
The different characters played were of different social background, different age, race and so on, which represented very well the real variety of bingo fans.
So far, even though the play was very well welcomed there is no news that is going to be played in any other UK theatre.
